Vision Ears Phonix

From the embers of Erlk?nig a new Vision Ears Ph?nix rose. The former awoke a burning appetite in Head-Fi for an uber-flagship built entirely from balanced armatures, and the 13-driver Ph?nix has now assumed the mantle of leading this movement. Why change a winning formula ¨C but Ph?nix did, just enough in the right areas. Small optimisations and improvements here and there, that make a big difference. Shedding Erlk?nig’s weight, Vision Ears mills each shell of this symbol from a single block of carbon fibre. Losing grams but gaining strength, enough to hold up the weight of expectations, Ph?nix is finished proudly to take Head-Fi by storm. Sitting above 13 drivers each, a prominent Ph?nix logo is mounted on a red chrome layer below a beautiful domed sapphire glass faceplate. [See Product Desc. For More] Visually this Vision Ears works a treat, and sonically it backs all that up with a kind of tonal density from bottom to top. Quantity of drivers is a quality of its own, and what Ph?nix does is only possible with the expert implementation of 13 drivers for a true status symbol. Utterly rich of tone and indulgent in its presentation, a delicate treble also gives rise to a special height of soundstage as this TOTL’s X factor. Ph?nix’s prestige carries on into material accessorisation. A premium 23 AWG silver-gold alloy and OCC copper-litz cable comes terminated in 2.5mm for balanced operation straight from the box. And a genuine leather case mimicking the aesthetics of an exclusive watch display is included to protect your precious Ph?nix, leather key strap available separately. The completeness of the package and maturity on show from Vision Ears here was hailed by Headfonia , who unreservedly put it on their Recommended Buys list. Twister6 confirmed Erlk?nig has been resurrected. Headfonics say Ph?nix’s “coherent timbre has an inviting and intoxicating blend of smooth-sounding mids and gorgeously rich vocals backed up by a punchy low-end performance when called upon”. Simply undeniable, the Ph?nix has risen triumphantly to soar as an icon. Whet your appetites by first viewing the rest of our Vision Ears collection here , or our other IEMs here .
